Ladies urged to ‘get comfortable’ with Point S

At Point S we’re proud of our ‘come one, come all’ philosophy which is why we were concerned, but not wholly surprised, by the findings of a recent report from the Institute of Motor Industry, which found that 1 in 5 women drivers were not ‘comfortable’ getting their car repairs carried out.A host of reasons were cited by respondents for their concerns including worries about spiralling costs, feeling uncomfortable in the garage atmosphere and a lack of technical knowledge about cars.

In response to these worrying findings, the IMI is launching a campaign to give women drivers the tools they need to make them more confident and comfortable in a garage environment.

As visitors to any of our centres throughout the UK will be able to testify, Point S aims to make its workshops a welcoming place for both men and women visitors alike. We know that regardless of your sex, taking your car to the garage can be a daunting prospect so we aim to treat all of customers with the highest levels of respect, care and attention always.

To help all of our customers understand what they can expect from the Point S experience, our website contains a number of easy to use tools to help you plan your visit or any repairs that need to be carried out to your car.

Of course, if you’ve got any further suggestions about how we can make our centres even more welcoming and user friendly, we’d love to hear your thoughts. Simply drop us a line on 0121 7446191.
