I got my first car last August and was recommended Ashwell Motors by my boyfriend's stepdad, as it's where he always takes his cars for MOTS.

I know next to nothing about cars, and the one I bought has had more than its fair share of problems. The first issue came just before my MOT in October when the brakes needed doing. As Ashwell wasn't open at the weekend, I had to take it to another garage in Rock Ferry. They basically laughed me out of the place, telling me I never should have bought the car and that it was a pile of junk. They were probably right about the car, but I've never once felt judged at Ashwell Motors.

Paul has always been exceptionally friendly, honest and approachable, and I'll continue taking my car here. Yes, they may not be the cheapest, but they don't cut corners, and I think that's reflected in the quality of their work. Looking through some of the one-star reviews, it seems price is the main criticism, but in my experience you get what you pay for.
Whenever I've been worried about repair costs, Paul has always reassured me, and spent a few minutes with me on the phone sometimes while I’ve been stressed which is a testament to his character. Everyone else I have met has been incredibly friendly too. When I have had trouble parking in the narrow street the garage sits on one of the technicians offered to do it for me!

I'd much rather pay for a job to be done properly than save a bit of money and end up back at the garage because the work wasn't done right. Hopefully I'll upgrade from my Fiat Punto soon, so these poor lads won't have to fix it for the fourth time in just over a year! Until then, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ashwell Motors.

The staff were friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. They took the time to explain everything clearly and got the work done without any issues.

Two lads were very accommodating and willing to help. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and the customer service was excellent throughout.

These guys are fantastic! They happily tell you everything you need to know about what they're doing. This year, AirCon old gas has gone up, but they're holding their prices for regular customers, for once loyalty pays. Thanks so much!

Used Ashwell Motors for the first time today, really efficient and friendly service, recommended by another garage who were unable to complete the work. Very reasonably priced and satisfied with the work completed.

Great garage I’ve used ashwell for a couple of years now for MOT service and any issues with the car. Paul and the team and are top class and always honest with you about what needs doing not trying to fleece you like some garages . So great if your new to the Baltic like I was and need a reliable garage hope they stay for years to come!
