Do you know a car fails MOT if boot won't open? I turned up to drop car off not long before test, and lightly mentioned jammed boot. Paling slightly, with full day of MOTs and jobs booked, Matthew calmly warned the car would fail if put to the test. They'do do their best, but... Time was ticking and the test time neared. Mid afternoon I had call, I expected bad news. But no! They had worked magic. The boot lock was fixed and the car sailed through it's MOT.
And it's not the first time I've been helped and had car sorted when I've turned up roaring like a motorbike - needing new exhaust, or sump, or some such. Always ready to help if it's possible.
And welcoming. Some garages make a person not expert in innards beneath hood feel ill at ease, especially if female. Here you can have proper discussion about problems and value/cost and the team members are friendly. They keep my Mum's car and mine running in safe and compliant good condition from year to year. An efficient friendly enterprise.
