My car's exhaust was making a rattling noise suddenly.
I presumed it was a bracket or a sleeve on the exhaust.
I contacted Fife Auto & requested if I could bring it in for them to have a look.
They Informed me they were extremely busy, but they would fit me in to have a look, which I really appreciated a lot.
After the mechanic Brian had a look he confirmed it was the centre exhaust jointing sleeve.
I was told due to them being extremely busy, Friday would be the only option. Understandably so. Which I was fine with.
But as it grew nearer to the appointment day, the rattling intensified slightly. So I asked if I could bring it in sooner than the appointment date. Which they agreed which I was very happy about considering they were bogged down with jobs.
I found the staff down to earth, polite with a good sense of humour.
As there's nothing worse going into an establishment and the staff have a bad attitude or perhaps moody.
They fixed the issue in good time & send me a text to confirm it.
Thereafter I collected my car & the rattling was gone.
Yippee 😁
Now I work extremely close to Fife Auto, walking distance in fact.
My work colleague brings his car to these guys & sings their praises. Clearly he was correct.
I'm glad I took his advice.
Historically, I have had mechanics who have ripped me off. As no doubt everybody has.
Honesty is paramount, Especially with mechanics as Cars can be extremely costly when there is an issue.
Especially so, if you go in with one issue and suddenly you have five if you get my meaning with cowboys.
Been there 🤦
But these guys fitted me in when they were extremely busy, fixed the issue at a reasonable price too, in good time. Which yet again I appreciate.
So I will be using there services again.
Thanks lads 👌
