Winning Big At Automechanika

Earlier this month, a handful of Point S members were recognised for their excellence at the Automechanika Birmingham Garage Awards 2025. Such recognition is no mean feat; hundreds of businesses and individuals are nominated across ten categories. Two members won the award within their category, while two members were Highly Commended for their efforts.
Longstanding member, EAC Telford, based in Shropshire, won Multi-site Garage of the Year. The award reflects the nature of our network, an independent, family-run business that is thriving across multiple points of sale. EAC is shortly to open its fourth new site in the Hortonwood area.

Also victorious was Hillclimb Garage, which won Best Community Initiative. The High Wycombe-based member won for their work with many different elements of the community and local organisations, including hosting the village Christmas Market, getting the local pre-school to decorate their showroom windows and erecting a 20 foot community Christmas Tree for all to enjoy. Director Mark Darvill added, "We headline sponsor the annual village fete and raise funds for our local charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Additionally we support the village girls football team, support an up and coming youngster in karting and have the schools in to see how modern workshops operate. We also support the local choir in helping them raise funds to sing in and around the area. There are many other general things we do to support local activities by providing free MOT’s, etc for their fundraising and we are always out and about doing anything we can to help. It’s a fabulous, friendly community and we are proud to be a part of it."

We were delighted to see Ferdotti Motor Services and Cleevely Motors receive commendation in the Garage of the Year and Best Marketing Award categories, respectively.
Cleevely Motors director, Matt Cleevely went on to say, "I think we got a highly commended award because we consciously put a lot of effort into maintaining a clear, educational and informative image of our business on all of our social media channels. As we specialise in electrified vehicles we have found that we need to make our business professionalism and quality as transparent and obvious on our socials to reassure potential new customers that we know what we are doing. We work closely with our social media team and make every effort to ensure it is regularly updated, I think the judges of the award appreciated that."
Congratulations to everyone involved!
