My friend and his family were on there way to east Midlands airport from mid wales, they had a blow out at 4am this morning. They called me at 5am and explained what had happened, I told them to carry on with there holiday and that I will travel up 2.5 hours to get the tyre sorted today, we had to drive to the airport to collect his key from staff and then an hour back to where the car was left.
My missus googled tyre companies and it brought up chase tyres.
We took the wheel off and took it to chase tyres, unfortunately they didn't have the tyre size we needed. They managed to get hold of a tyre that would get us out of trouble, and sorted it within 15 minutes.
I cannot stress or recommend this garage enough, they didn't know us from adam and stopped everything to help us.
